KLT Filtration is pleased to confirm a donation of just under 500 drinking water filter systems with ceramic water filters to support the people of Tonga following the devastating volcanic eruption on January 15th, 2022. Since 2013, KLT has been manufacturing ceramic water filters in King’s Lynn and now distributes them Globally under the ‘Coldstream’ brand. The business has been experiencing rapid growth due to continued changes in consumer behaviour with a preference for a plastic free filter that enables drinking water to be contaminate free and taste great whilst enabling households to remove the cost of plastic bottled mineral water from their weekly shop. Stuart Morris, KLT Filtration Managing Director commented; “Our vision is to empower people to permanently remove contamination from the world’s water supply, with affordable drinking water filter systems which are harmless to the environment. We were fortunate to be able to be make this donation to support the disaster relief effort and are just pleased that we have been able to help, especially when we have just learned that the Country has had to enter a lockdown due to Covid 19 making relief efforts even more challenging. We recently met with the High Commissioner for Tonga in London where they expressed their thanks and appreciation, and we received a token of thanks which we will be displaying in our offices”.
